About the University of Southampton
WebSci’20 will be hosted by the University of Southampton on the Highfield Campus, the heart of the University. Set in beautiful green surroundings, it’s easily accessible from the city centre.
The main conference sessions will take place in the prestigious new Centenary Building (Building 100) which was recently completed to celebrate 100 years of teaching at Highfield Campus.

Southampton is an historically important maritime port which has played a significant role on the world stage over the last 500 years. The vibrant city is now a major cultural, retail and commercial centre on the south coast of England. It is also one of the UK’s greenest cities with several city centre parks and the 300-acre Southampton Common a short stroll from the University’s Highfield Campus.
Close to Southampton you’ll find some of the most beautiful countryside and coastline in the south of England, including the New Forest National Park, the Isle of Wight and the historic city of Winchester. Southampton also has good transport links to London and to other parts of the UK and Europe.
